Connect AI agents (MCP)

We launched a ClearXP MCP server, allowing AI agents to securely connect to ClearXP. This includes tools for learners and managers:

• Learners can check their upcoming or overdue learning and ask questions about any learning material on the platform.
• Managers can follow up on their team’s compliance, review their direct reports and assign learning to complete.

Authoring

• Storyboards now support exporting to third-party tools (such as Adapt) via custom extensions.

Reporting

• Added Hub Link and Admin Link columns to Activity Reports as a handy shortcut for when you audit your content.

• Fixed commenting on support tickets.
• Fixed a problem opening a task that was launched from within another assessment.

Agentic Storyboard Generation

We completely overhauled our storyboard generation pipeline to be AI-centric. You can now use the ClearXP AI Agent to help you draft, design and review storyboards for learning content.

• Learning outcomes - we’ll recommend outcomes for your given learning brief. This ensures all drafted content is designed to support a given learning outcome.
• Draft content with attributions - the first content draft is centered around your reference material, with every sentence attributed back to its source material. This ensures all facts and claims are traceble to keep content accurate for a SME to review.
• Collaborative storyboard editor - after draft content is approved, learning design theory kicks in to ensure the content is delivered in the most effective way possible. The team can now refine, comment and co-author together in real-time.

What used to take days of manual content mapping and instructional design, is now provided in minutes so your IDs can focus on what they do best: crafting elevated learning experiences.

In-built Support Portal

We rolled out a brand-new, in-product Support portal so you can raise and track issues without leaving ClearXP:

• A new Report an Issue button and a dedicated support portal.
• Email replies and CC’d recipients on support tickets are now handled automatically.
• An AI support agent helps triage and respond to issues.

Single sign-on for third parties (OAuth)

• ClearXP can now act as an OAuth 2.0 provider, with on-behalf-of token exchange, making it easier to securely connect external tools and AI agents.

Admin

• Added automatic profile selection when logging into admin.
• Added a more prominent progress bar when navigating screens.

Events

• Exposed a new option to allow learners to re-register into sessions (even if previously attended).

• Fixed a number of remaining dark mode issues in the Admin UI and tidied up the display of long AI conversation titles.
• Improved deep-linking, including automatically redirecting users who have a single profile.
• Fixed flagged feedback entries disappearing after being escalated.
• Fixed email addresses being displayed incorrectly in support messages.
• Fixed report exports not always respecting your chosen column order.

Ops Agent

Kicking off our radical pivot into Agentic L&D is the Ops Agent, designed to solve learner queries and help you administer the ClearXP Platform.

• The new Ask AI screen allows you to ask any open-ended question of our AI agent.
• The agent can look-up data, knowledge base articles and help diagnose learner or system issues.
• The agent shows reasoning and tool use to provide transparency about how it arrived at its response.

Admin

• Added a self-service password reset screen for admins.

Activities & Enrolments

• Added new draft and deactivated enrolment statuses, an option to disable launching a completed activity, and a Group Reports Under setting for events.
• Added support for multi-line attributes on the activity screen.

• Fixed Coursera courses being incorrectly deactivated after a second sync.
• Fixed enrolments not applying changes when moved from draft or deactivated back to active.
• Fixed deleted groups still appearing in search results.
• Fixed a stability issue affecting collaborative editing of content.
• Fixed a crash on the user profile stream view when a referneced user had been deleted.

Admin

• A number of Engagement Dashboard improvements including Access over Time trends, export support and additional filters.
• You can now edit pre and post-assessments using the program generator.
• The enrolment preview numbers now exclude inactive users

Content Authoring

• Activity Tile components can now be disabled using Logic rules.
• Added support for custom CSS on the approval template.
• Added the ability to override the search scope on actor search components.

Search

• Improved AI-powered search by indexing more activity metadata, agents and groups.

• Fixed an issue with prerequisite checks on activities.
• Fixed some assessment attempts with very large numbers of responses not being fully captured in reports.
• Fixed the activity stream not showing all of an activity’s child records, and manager team lookup when assigning content.

AI Rubric Evaluation

Introducing AI rubric evaluation – submitted text and images can be automatically assessed against a rubric with personalised feedback shown to the learner.

Content Authoring

The chart component now supports external filters for arbitrary metrics.
